I ended up purchasing two of these books, one for me and one for my daughter (she lives 3 hours away) It is a really great book and probably the only one you need to plan your wedding.
Fun to read! July 29, 2009 Book Chick 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed reading this book. I have read about ten wedding planners and this one is by far the most upbeat and non-aggressive. Several other books were very opinionated and at times, sarcastic about the 'right' way to do things. This author makes suggestions and offers ideas. There are a bunch of checklists and worksheets - which are very helpful. In fact, I flagged so many pages it looked like my book had wings. Whether you are planning a formal or casual wedding this book is a great 'guide' not a rigid 'rule book'.

This is a great planning tool. It is full of lists, and also has sections on wedding etiquette which is very helpful. I bought this for my daughter, and she bought 2 more as gifts for her friends.
